IV

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The city was dismal and it sent a cold shiver down everyone’s spine as they walked through. Despite chatting and seeming rather unawares of their surroundings, they never let their guard down. Every time there was even the slightest bit of movement, maybe from a falling rock and something shifted, their weapons were drawn and ready for anything. Needless to say, it would usually end up being a rat scurrying around for any scrap of food.

The sun beat down on the group as they walked. It had reached mid-day and the heat had almost become unbearable. Everyone rationed their water and made sure to not drink too much because neither of them had even the slightest idea where they’d come across a portal or an exit. They had to be smart about it all.

Kannabis didn’t look all to well and stopped on occasion to take a breather. Sweat was profusely present on his forehead as opposed to all the others. Despite all the others’ suggestions to stop, he insisted that he was alright and they all trekked on. Kade noticed on several occasions Kannabis rubbing his arm as if he was suffering from a fever or the weather was too cold. It was definitely not cold at all; the sweat on Kade’s forehead proved. That. Something didn’t feel right about the way he rubbed his arm.

watch your big friend with the axe. He doesn’t smell right.

Nine’s words echoed maniacally in Kade’s mind. What was it that Nine was talking about exactly? How could Kannabis be a threat to him and the rest of his friends? Sure, he was an asshole, but then again there was a difference between being one, and actually trying to just kill them. That would be too much like…

A windigo.

The group moved on through the city, every now and then passing by a familiar place where they had once spent happier days. They passed by the coffee shop where old Mr. Jenkins and his wife used to work and the video arcade where they had blown so much of their money. Seeing all of it brought back memories that were both joyful and hurtful at the same time.

So many questions danced in Kade’s mind. Would he ever be able to return to this city that he had once called home? could any of them return? There was no one else he could depend except for those around him now, and that’s how he wanted it to be for as long as possible.

The sun had started its descent into the horizon when Kannabis suddenly dropped to his knees. Everyone stopped and rushed to see what happened. Kade wrapped his hand around Kannabis’ arm and hissed. His skin was cold, as cold as ice.

"Kannabis, you okay man? You’re fucking freezing, man." – Kade said, his voice overwhelmed with worry.

Kannabis cradled himself as if a winter’s breeze had just blown through and everyone but Kannabis missed it. Kade made a futile attempt at trying to pick him up.

"For the love of God, Kade!" – Kannabis bellowed – "It’s hurts, dammit!"

Kannabis looked up at Kade and pushed him away. – "Get away from me, Godammit! Just go!"

Kade slowly backed away from his friend, still confused about what could be happening to him. then he noticed something that made his blood run and his heart jump into his throat. Kannabis had torn his sleeves pushing Kade and deep claw marks were clearly evident.

"Kannabis…" – Kade’s voice had lost itself in his throat.

Kannabis just looked at Kade. Blood slowly oozed from the corners of his mouth until his mouth was nothing but a disturbing shade of crimson. Kannabis coughed and began spitting out his teeth. Tooth after tooth fell from his mouth as if he had just gotten into a street fight. As he bent over in agony, Kade could see the bite marks on his back.

"What are just standing around for?" – Kannabis said looking, his face twisted in pain – "MOVE IT!"

It only seemed like his words had the exact opposite effect of what he intended. Instead of running away, Kade and the rest were frozen stiff. Amy’s hand went to cover her mouth. She gasped at the whole scene, not wanting to watch but unable to look away.

Kannabis paled, then went whiter, as if all the blood that had come from his mouth had been from his entire body. The ground was covered in blood and Kannabis was nothing but a giant, alabaster dot in, what seemed like, a wading pool’s worth of blood. his teeth lay haphazardly around as he writhed in pain.

Kannabis threw his head back and let out a primal scream as ivory white fangs began ripping through his gums, shoving whatever normal teeth remained in his mouth. His scream was not a good sign at all, and it didn’t help the teenagers’ situation at all. Attracted by the noise and the smell of blood, windigo wandered into the area, not only hunting for food but also evidently curious about the source of the noise. Kannabis screamed again, his hands pounding into the pavement. His head shot up and his eyes locked on with Kade’s.

But these were not the brown eyes that Kade had come to know. No, they were different; menacing, evil, hateful...black.

Kannabis got up to his feet shakily, shook his head as if he was trying to get whatever kinks out, then tossed it back and let out a howl to the windigo around him. They howled back, welcoming and hating the newest member of their ranks. The sound alone made Kade realize what was happening.

"FUCK!!!"

Kannabis dropped to all fours and lunged towards Kade, hands reaching out for his throat. Kade barely managed to avoid his former companion, but before he could draw his sword, Kannabis turned around and lunged again. Kade, acting on instinct, swung blindly with his left fist connecting solidly on Kannabis’ jaw. Kannabis dropped to the ground, dazed, but obviously it would take more than just a lucky left-hook to put him down for good. As Kannabis-windigo got up, Kade had his sword out on the defensive. He couldn’t help but survey the situation at hand.

It was obvious that everyone had their hands more than full with windigo. Rage was busy with two, who, to his shock and dismay, he recognized as Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins. Even though he was doing a pretty good job holding them back, it was still evident that he was desperately in need of help.

Noire and Amy were standing back to back, facing off against three windigo who circled them constantly the way a pack of hyenas would once they’ve cornered a gazelle. It was clear that their main goal was looking for a weak spot so they could strike.

Even though it was just one, and a small one to be exact, Spin still had her hands full with this lowly windigo.

That was all he could manage to catch before Kannabis-windigo leapt at him, snarling. Kade slashed, but he still couldn’t bring himself to cutting down his former friend. The strike went wide, and Kannabis-windigo swung a hand at Kade, pitch-black nails ripping through his shirt. Kade knew he was at a disadvantage. Even when Kannabis was a human, he had been bigger and stronger. Now that he was a windigo, his strength seemed to have increased, and he seemed to have grown, not only in size, but more reckless and animalistic.

Spin’s cry of despair shook him and he realized that he and his friends were no match for the onslaught of windigo coming their way. As his eyes focused around, he noticed that more and more windigo kept coming to their location.

As a windigo came lunging from the rear of Kade, a large shadow streaked passed and suddenly the windigo was headless. What was it that just did that?

He looked to find a large figure standing with his back turned holding a large dagger with blood running down the blade. A tail swung from side to side. Nine pulled off his hood and charged with what seemed like an inner demon taking possession of him at the windigo. Suddenly all, if not most of the windigo, turned their attention to him and started attacking him head on. they clawed and scratched at him; every bite and scratch just seemed to antagonize the feral Nine even more.

Kade didn’t have time to be a spectator, however. He was soon busy fighting off Kannabis-windigo again, facing down with the monster he had become. Kade tried to kill him, but even if the opportunity came up, he still couldn’t do it. Even though his eyes told him that it was just another windigo, his brain knew that not too long back, this had been a friend. True, not the best, but they had lived together and watched each other’s backs. That did build a sort of connection. It was hard to kill someone who you knew had been covering your ass for a while, and whom you had covered.

"Kade!" Spin screamed, and Kade’s head whipped around.

Spin was overwhelmed with five windigo coming at her. SHIT! Kade ran to her, dodging windigo as he sped to her location. He got there just in time to catch the fastest windigo, neatly slicing off the head, then turning around to stop the heart, and then taking on the next one. Spin appeared next to him, sweat dripping down her face as she fought. If this kept up as long as he thought it would, they wouldn’t be able to keep fighting.

Meanwhile, Nine was going toe-to-toe against three windigo, one of which was Kannabis-windigo. Although Kannabis-windigo was stronger and more dangerous than before, he couldn’t come near Nine. The feral cat-man was still faster than the huge windigo, slipping in and out of his attacks and lashing out with his knives. Kannabis-windigo took a wild swipe at Nine, and Nine just slipped past it, grabbed Kannabis’ arm, and pulled, shoving his knife straight through the windigo’s midsection, and then ripped it out from the side. But the cut barely affected Kannabis-windigo, who swung the other hand, catching Nine under the chin. Nine went flying back, but landed on his hands and pushed, flipping back towards the wall, then braced his feet and launched himself off and up, grabbed a rafter and swung around on top, then crouched and stopped.

This guy wasn’t like the other windigo… he looked like one, acted like on, but his fighting was more refined, more human-like. And he was picking up things as he fought, learning and utilizing what he learned. He was getting better and better, and knowing that windigo could learn, Nine only hoped that Kannabis-windigo had forgot that his axe was still lying nearby. He had already lost a lot of blood but that wasn’t his main problem right now.

Amy was taking quite good care of herself. Her and Noire worked in unison, almost as if they worked as one unit. Noire’s attacks would not only kill the windigo, but would also stun them which allowed Amy to make the final blow.

"Don’t worry, hun," Noire said as one more windigo fell, "I won’t let anything happen to you. Not over my dead body."

"Thanks, Noire, but if your body winds up dead, I don’t think I’ll be that far behind you."

"Hence my promise."

"Why though? You barely know me…"

"No idea. Watch out!!" Noire cried out. Amy ducked, and Noire took out the windigo that was creeping up on Amy.

As she fought, the blood spraying everywhere, Amy couldn’t help but wonder whether or not she’d survive. She just wanted to go back home and if she died here, there would be no possibility for that. She used her need to go back home as her motivation. She was not going to die here and that was that.

Obviously the look in the eyes of the others was similar to hers, but she also had to face reality. They were all getting tired and getting overwhelmed by the windigo who seemed endless. Eventually Noire and her found themselves with Rage and Spin and Kade. The teenagers all stood back towards one another and killed any attacking windigo. How long could they hold out?

Kannabis-windigo stared up at Nine with anger and frustration as would an angry cat do when it realizes that a bird is too high up to reach. It was obvious that he hated Nine’s agility and realized that this was not easy prey. Nine perched and looked down at his adversary. That bastard better not notice his axe, Nine thought to himself.

Unfortunately, Nine’s fear was soon made evident when Kannabis-windigo noticed the large weapon lying in the ground. Nine held his breath as the beast held it in his alabaster hands. Nine saw a flicker in the windigo’s eyes, almost as if he knew what the weapon was for. How was that possible?

Before Nine could assess the situation fully, the large windigo swung the axe into the side of the wall that Nine crouched upon. Suddenly the concrete began to crack and crumble and Nine fell. As he fell, he was able to catch himself on some barbwire. He winced in pain as the metal spikes dug into his hand.

He looked in the distance and noticed the five teenagers being attacked by the windigo. In his mind he knew that they were bound to be getting tired soon enough. He had to do something.

He pushed himself off the wall, pulling the barbwire with him and backflipped behind the large windigo wrapping the barbwire his neck and began choking him to death.

As the metal spikes dug into the windigo’s neck, Nine reached for his dagger that he stabbed into the side of the windigo and slit its throat. The windigo writhed in pain as it held its throat, the blood pouring out in great quantity. In its anger, it turned to attack Nine again.

With one slash of his dagger, the windigo’s head lay at Nine’s feet.

Nine was battered and bruised and he was tired, but he wasn’t finished. His hand still bled from gripping the barbwire the way he did. He dropped the wire at his feet and turned towards the rest of the windigo, he picked up his daggers and charged towards them, attacking viciously. One by one, each windigo fell. Eventually, the windigo got the right idea and most of them began to retreat. The few remaining windigo were slain. Nine’s body was a plethora of bites and scratches. Blood dripped from his arms and his daggers. He fell back against a wall and began to laugh hysterically.

The five teenagers looked at him uneasily. It was either just the extensive amount of blood loss or something they just weren’t seeing, but something was definite, Nine had lost his mind.

"Woo!’ – he let out a rapturous yelp – "That was one hell of a party!"

he continued laughing as the others looked at each other, dumbfounded.

"Um, Nine..." – Kade said – "Shouldn’t you be a little worried?"

"About what?" – he said wiping a tear from his eye.

"Dude, you just got bitten and scratched but probably six dozen windigo..."

"And?" – Nine said, obviously unsure of the point the Kade was trying to make.

Kade looked at this scar-laden, blood-drenched half-man, half cat in, not only shock, but amazement. How, after a battle such as that, could he still be so carefree and happy?

"Well Kade, let me put your worries to rest." – Nine said, his voice sounding like the usual relaxed, mellow voice he was known for – "I’m immune. So you don’t have to worry about me going berserk on you."

He wiped off the excess blood from his daggers and sheathed them. every once in a while, he’d come across a windigo head or torso and spit unceremoniously, an obvious sign of his disgust to the loathsome creatures.

"So are you all just going to stand there waiting for the next wave." – he said pulling his cloak over his shoulders – "Or are you gonna follow me?"

"Where?" – Spin asked as she wiped blood off her cheek.

"My place of course." – Nine chuckled. By the way he said it, it was as if Spin had asked him the most idiotic of questions – "C’mon, while we’re still young!"

The others ran to catch up with him. Everyone, but Amy, knew he was right about there being a second wave. If he had a safe place to hide for the night, it was better that they all be there and not out in the open. The sun was going down and it almost seemed like they were having a race with the great ball of fire as it made its way over the horizon.

The battle had been long and terrifying. For a moment, Amy could’ve sworn that they were all going to die. She looked around at all her friends’ eyes; fatigue, fear, uncertainty, depression. They had just lost one of their own and they weren’t sure where they would be going after Nephilim City. Amy felt a slight twinge of guilt because she had somewhere to go, but the others didn’t.

She looked ahead and noticed Nine’s physique in the setting sun. to think that this man, this being, was not only her, but their, savior. He didn’t even bother asking for a "Thank You". He really was something else.

By the time she realized it, Amy and her friends were what appeared to be the rich part of Nephilim City. Condominiums and villas scattered the area. It was clear that this was their first time to this area, because Nine could overhear the teenagers gasping in awe at the homes.

They finally found themselves standing in front of a large seaside mansion. Interestingly enough, it seemed as if this place was still impeccably taken care of despite the windigo threat and the apocalyptic state of the city. Nine walked up to the gate and punched in a code and spoke into a voice box. For a minute, Amy could’ve sworn he said "Raspberry".

"Ladies and gentlemen," – Nine said making a waving gesture with his arm – "Welcome to my humble abode."

They entered the mansion, and were awestruck by what they saw; portraits hung on the wall, the floor was made of marble and everything was well-kept.

They were soon approached by an elderly woman who held such a strong aura of wholesomeness, Amy could’ve sworn that at a time she did advertisements for a cereal box.

"Everyone, this is Mrs. Mills." – Nine introduced the old lady to them – "Mrs. Mills, this is everyone."

"Oh aren’t they all just so precious!!" – the old lady squealed – "But oh no, did you come across those bad old windingies again?"

"Windigo, Mrs. Mills," – Nine corrected her – "They’re called Windigo."

"Ah whatever, you all must be so tired..." – Mrs. Mills said turning her attention to this young people.

They all nodded meekily.

"Well come, come then," – she said motioning them into the living room – "You all make yourselves comfortable and…"

she stopped when she noticed Nine’s many cuts and wounds.

"Nine! Oh dear, let’s get you cleaned up."

"Mrs. Mills, I’m fine." – Nine said reassuringly – "You know I’m a fast healer. It’s nothing."

"It’s nothing?" – Mrs. Mills said, sounding more motherly than expected – "And then when they get infected, then what, young man?"

"Infec…what are you talking about?"

"Not a word more! You march yourself right up stairs and wrap those wounds up."

Not wanting to argue with this sweet old woman, Nine indeed marched himself upstairs to tend to his wounds. The others sat and watch him walk upstairs and couldn’t help but start laughing. the feral Nine could take on three dozen windigo with no problem whatsoever, but when it came to this sixty-five year old woman, he had met his match.

After some time, Mrs. Mills came back down with a well-bandaged Nine trailing her, scowling at all the cloth wound around his arms and chest. The old lady had even wrapped part of his tail! Amy couldn’t help but let out small giggle at the sight of the feral Nine swathed with bandages. Kade however, was more worried about where they were, and how they were to get to Amy’s world so she could go home… and then, what would happen after that?

Now then,” Mrs. Mills said, “You all must be tired. I am dreadfully sorry, but I had to tend to Nine since he was so hurt.”

Was not…” Muttered Nine childishly, but he grinned to let everyone know he was just kidding. He didn’t want the dear old lady mad at him, after all. Kade, despite himself, smirked. Mrs. Mills waved her hand at him, then continued, “But now, let’s get all of you settled in… I would think you would like baths first, yes?”

Yes, Please!!!” The whole group chorused at once, raising their hands to emphasize the need.

Well then, follow me upstairs, I have plenty of rooms free.” The lady smiled, and turned to go back upstairs, and the motley bunch of teens got up and followed her, still awed at the fact the whole house seemed so… pristine, as if the area had never heard of the windigo. It seemed to good to be true…

One by one, they split up and went to the rooms indicated to them by Mrs. Mills and began to clean themselves up. Amy was so happy to get into a hot shower that she nearly fell asleep in it, even though she was standing. She never realized that she had been so worn out, but her adrenaline rush seemed to be past, and all she wanted was a meal and a bed. She let the shower run over her, cleaning away the dirt and windigo blood.

When she came out, her clothes were gone, replaced by a sinfully soft white cotton robe, which she immediately put on and stepped out of her room. She padded down the hall until she found Noire’s room, and knocked on her door.

Come in.” Came the reply, so in she went, to find Noire in a robe identical to hers. “Noire looks so much more beautiful after she showers,” thought Amy. “Wait,” she thought right after that, “Why the hell am I thinking that?!?!” It was a slightly nervous Amy that walked over.

Hey you,” she said, “looks like we got the same robes… I feel like I’m in a five-star hotel or something.”

I know,” replied Noire, “It’s wonderful… I wonder where Nine’s room is.”

Why?”

Noire gave Amy a sly grin. “I wouldn’t mind getting into his shower…”

NOIRE!!” Amy said, blushing as Noire laughed. “She does look beautiful,” though Amy, then mentally kicked herself. Why was she thinking like this? She was interested in boys, her failed fling with Tyson, if nothing else, should have proved that. Yet… Noire seemed to understand her much better than any of the boys she had been with. And sometimes, it seemed that Noire was interested in her as more than a friend… or was she just imagining things? Maybe all the recent events had driven her crazy… But if this was crazy, Amy realized, then she wanted to stay crazy.

Noire herself had some thoughts running through her head. Although to the rest of the group she was the tough yet loving member, always calm and always understanding, she was the most fragile. She had been the only one to confront a person they loved and watch him turn into a windigo, and be attacked by that same person. Jesse had been so much to her, and she found herself sometimes wishing that he had killed her, that Nine hadn’t saved her. Living with the pain had seemed unbearable. But since Amy showed up, life had seemed more bearable. It had only been a day, but the pain had lessened to an extent that Noire now felt a courage she didn’t know she could possess, a fierce courage to protect Amy. In a twist of fate, she had taken Jesse’s role as the protector and Amy was the one she wanted to protect, from pain, from harm, from a loveless life. And now, seeing Amy here, in just a robe, looking fresh as the morning sun that she used to watch with Jesse, made her heart melt and want to wrap her arms around the girl, and never let go. With some effort, she calmed her heart down and became more serious.

I’m serious though, I’m so glad we made it…”

I was worried, for a bit,” said Amy, sitting down on Noire’s bed, next to Noire. The proximity seemed to give Amy a buzz, as if just being with Noire was like a mild drug. “It seemed that we would never get out of that flood… I thought I would die there…”

You wouldn’t have died,” said Noire fiercely, “I would have protected you until we were safe.”

Amy was stunned. Why would this beautiful creature risk her life for someone she had never met until a day ago? Surely, her own life would be much more important, wouldn’t it? Did this mean… No, Amy thought, that type of luck was only applicable in anime… It would be unbelievable if Noire actually felt the same way she did… But then, Amy realized, she wasn’t sure how she felt herself…

Noire, I know how you feel, I’d do the same for you, but-“

No, you don’t realize… I’d save Kade, Spin, Rage… even Kannabis if I could… but if I seemed they were lost, or if they told me to go… then I’d leave them… but you, I’d risk everything to save you, no matter what!” Noire’s eyes were gleaming with conviction. She was the pure image of determination in an hourglass. Amy was taken aback, yet some part of her was pleased that Noire felt this way. Maybe, just maybe… Maybe what? What was this new, uncomfortable yet… strangely pleasant feeling she was experiencing?

Noire… why would you go so far, just for me? I mean, you’ve known Kade, Spin and Rage for much longer than me… if anything, I should be the first person to be left behind… I’m the excess baggage here…”

You are not excess baggage!!!” Noire said furiously. “You are as much a part of us as any other. And to me…” Noire looked away, and Amy could swear for a second she was blushing. But a second later she looked back. “To me, you are much more than just a friend… Ever since you’ve shown up, I felt… I dunno, a pull, you could say… Something pulls me towards you…”

Why Noire,” Amy said, half-joking, “If you keep talking like that I might think you were coming on to me…”

Maybe this will clear things up.” Noire said, leaning in and places her lips on Amy’s. For a second, Amy was shocked, then a warm feeling flooded over her and she relaxed. But only for a second, then Noire pulled away, blushing like the sun.

I’m sorry… I’m sorry Angel, I shouldn’t have… Shit, I don’t know what to say…”

Amy silenced her with a finger on her lips. “You don’t need to say anything, Noire. Nothing at all.” With that, Amy wrapped her arms around Noire and kissed her passionately, conveying all her mixed-up feelings through the contact of her lips and Noire’s. Noire reciprocated with the same fervor, one hand around Amy’s waist, the other behind her head, holding her in place lest the tenuous, ecstatic contact be broken. Amy’s tongue felt it’s way to Noire’s lips, testing, unsure, then plunging in and finding Noire’s tongue. Noire let out a small moan, her hand rising up Amy’s back.

Amy’s robe had come loose, leaving her torso bare to her partner. Amy lost no time in equaling the situation with Noire’s robe. Her skin was infinitely smooth, like she was in a skin-tight silk covering, an almost non-existent sheen of sweat already forming. Noire kissed Amy again, then working her way around to her ear, biting it gently. Amy let out a small scream, then shivered ever so slightly and whispered, 'Noire…"

"Shhh," Noire murmured, "Just relax…" Noire kissed down Amy’s jaw-line, then finding her neck, working slowly down, finding that certain, sensitive point where her neck met her collar and biting down on it, just enough to cause pleasure and pain. Amy moaned loudly, panting with the waves of emotions and sensations that was washing her mind away.

"Yes…" she murmured into her lover’s ear, and Noire headed further down, reaching the upper slopes of Amy’s breasts, which she proceeded to kiss and lick, going around and around, rising higher and higher but not quite reaching the point, circling it endlessly while Amy fell over onto the bed, pulling Noire with her.

Finally, Noire caught Amy’s nipple with her lips, sucking on it, then pinching it with her teeth, pulling it out and letting it snap back, causing Amy to let out another scream of delight. One hand was occupied with Amy’s other breast, the other sliding up her thigh, a feather touch up the inside, meant to excite Amy, and fulfilling it’s purpose above and beyond it’s call. Amy started gyrating her hips, slowly losing what control she had, giving in to the desires of her body.

Noire teased and pleased Amy, bringing her up, then letting her fall, then bringing her up again, and repeat. The pleasure was something Amy had never experienced before. She had heard about it in the locker room, but experiencing it was something beyond what words could convey. It was like a tsunami, building up inside her but not able to finally break, filling her up until it felt like she might explode if she didn’t let it loose.

Noire let her fall again, admiring the way the sweat on Amy’s body made her look so enticing, so sexy that it was hard not to beg her for her turn. Noire could feel her womanhood getting wetter and wetter, just by pleasing Amy. Amy’s face was flushed, red staining her cheeks, her lips parted, tongue just poking out, her chest heaving, making her breasts rise and fall to the rhythm of their lovemaking.

"Noire," Amy moaned, "Please… I can’t wait any longer… I need you…" Noire kissed her, nibbling her lower lip while her hand finally came to rest on Amy’s slit, one finger just testing her folds, rubbing her labia and pushing in, but not entering her. Amy was almost crazy with desire, and then Noire obliged her, sliding two fingers right into her, then out again, and then in, finger-fucking her slowly. Yet another moan escaped her lips as another quivering wave built up on top of the others. She clutched at the sheets, knuckles turning white. Noire took her time, slow and steady, working every angle she could, kissing Amy as if her life depended on it, a third finger joining the other two as they sped up, her thumb at last touching on Amy’s sensitive clit, rubbing it, toying with it.

This time, Amy let out a scream into Noire’s mouth as this new sensation ripped through her and she hit the brink, balanced on that pleasurably painful edge. But only for a moment, then Noire flicked her thumb and Amy fell, the waves finally bursting loose. Her back arched, and she flung her head back, almost breaking the kiss with Noire as wave after tidal wave of pleasure slammed through her, drowning out any last shreds of conscious thought as she orgasmed. She came, and came, as if there were no end. Finally, after what seemed to be only a moment, a lifetime, an infinity, her orgasm subsided and she came back down to the bed, breathing hard, letting the black spots in front of her clear up, as she realized what just happened. Noire was right there with her, hand covered in her juices, gently kissing her.

"Fuck… I have never… come that hard… in my entire… life…" Amy panted, trying to talk and catch her breath at the same time. Noire smiled at her and began licking her fingers clean, one at a time, then kissed Amy again, sharing her juices between them. Sweat rolled down Amy’s body. Noire simply smiled at her, looking down at her. God, she thought, but she looks so hot lying there, just after she cums…

She was lost in her thoughts, and therefore did not realize that Amy had rolled her onto her back until she felt the same ministrations she had used applied to her own body. She looked down, and Amy looked up at her with eyes that said, My Turn. Noire but her lip as Amy worked her body, playing with her breasts.

"Mmm, you have such beautiful breasts, Noire…" Amy said as she engulfed one nipple with her mouth, the other she nabbed with her fingers, rolling it about and tweaking it. The two together brought out a low, sexy moan from Noire’s mouth, which just served to get Amy even more into playing with Noire, trying to duplicate what Noire had done to her. She switched her mouth for her other hand and began kissing her way down Noire’s luscious body, trailing her tongue down her stomach and across her waist, until she reached her crotch, bypassing that and continuing down to her legs, kissing up Noire’s thighs, then back down and up again. Amy could feel the nerves in Noire’s legs jumping, and knew she was making this girl wetter and wetter.

Amy gently rolled Noire onto her hands and knees, then bent over her so that she was laying down along her back. She grabbed Noire’s breasts and rolled them around, palming them, squeezing and releasing them, while her lips were busy kissing down Noire’s bare skin. She felt like she was on fire, her skin was that hot. Each kiss felt like a flash of flame against her lips, and the sensation drove her wild. Noire herself was slowly slipping, as Amy’s work drove her more and more into deep desire for release, yet unwilling to give up the pleasure Amy was causing. She hadn’t expected Amy to know exactly where her switches were, but sure enough, she was flipping them on, one by one. She was moaning almost continuously, her body shaking with lust.

The feel of Amy’s tongue against her slit shocked her into a new level of rapture. First her labia, then slowly probing into her, going inside her, Amy’s tongue was penetrating her, sending shockwaves and shivers up her spine. She could no longer keep herself up, and her hands folded so that her face was pressed against the bed, her ass up in the air, and Amy causing a riot between her thighs. Her hips bucked wildly, and she pushed herself backwards, trying to get Amy’s tongue even deeper into her, needing her to take her, needing her to love her.

At last, when she almost lost her mind to the sensations, she came, crying out in one moment of love, pleasure and lust, her body locking up as all the built-up pleasure blew through her, burning away all thought, all sense of caution, until the only thing left was an insatiable desire for Amy, for her body, for her love… For the pleasure and pain that was their unconfirmed yet undeniable love, for the heat and sweet torture that was their lust. She moaned her lover’s name over and over, a constant mantra. And, at the end of it all, she collapsed onto the bed, out of breath and drenched with sweat, her thighs sticky with her fluids, her body satiated, but not quite spent.

Amy eagerly lapped up all the juice she could, and dribbled it in an erratic line, up Noire’s body, then going back down and licking her way up, up, up, until her lips met Noire’s in that sweet contact, full of subsided lust and blossoming love.

"Angel… that… was… incredible…” Noire whispered, and Amy giggled. "I hope you’re not tired yet, ‘cause there is a lot more where that came from."

Noire looked over at this young girl, who she had barely met, who she knew she couldn’t let go of.

"Baby, there better be."

Kade laid in bed, thinking about how they managed to get to this huge house. They were lucky to get there. Getting through those waves of Windigo had seemed completely impossible, but they had made it through. If not for Nine, they wouldn’t have made it. Even Kannabis had turned… Shit! Kade thought, that explained all the changes that Kanny had been going through… But his turning had cost them a fighter, and a friend…

Kade bounced off his bed, itching to find a drum-set, but he doubted there would be one in this house. It didn’t seem like a house to have one. And even if it did, there was slim chance it could take the banging Kade would put it through. Kade cracked his knuckles, and settled for drumming his fingers on the bedside table. His next worry was where to go next. They were safe for now, but he didn’t want to impose his and his companions on Mrs. Mills for long, and he wanted to make sure that the others would be OK before he left to find a place for Spin and himself.

"Speak of the devil.” Kade said as Spin walked into his room, freshly showered.

"Huh?"

"Nothing, I was just thinking about you…"

"Nothing nasty, I hope?"

"That’s for me to know, and you to find out." Kade said with a slight grin. Spin shook her head and sat down next to Kade, wrapping her arms around him and resting her head on his shoulder. Kade kissed her forehead, and relaxed slightly. "Spin, what are we going to do next? We can’t stay here forever… we need to get Angel back home, then… well, then, I’d like to find a place for us… just you and me, with some room for more if needed…"

"Pardon me, but for a moment it sounded like you wanted to start a family with me."

"I do… Aside from all the shit going on right now, I know I’m not ready now… but hopefully, sometime when all this is over, when I can feel confident I’ll be a good dad… I want to settle down with you…"

"Kade," Spin said as she leaned in to kiss him, "I think you’re ready now… You were the one guy among us who was against settling down, but now you want to… For you to change that much for me, I think you’d be a great dad… And I want to be with you, too…"

"Even so." Kade continued, "Our first matter is to get Angel home. She’s a stranger here, and I’m sure her friends back from The Universe must be missing her. And after today, I’m not sure that we’ll even make it out of here, let alone be able to get her back. How the hell are we even going to figure that out in the first place?” He exhaled loudly and leaned back onto the bed. "I’ll be damned if I know what we should do now…"

"Well, we’ll discuss it with the others tomorrow morning. For now, we all need to rest and unwind."

"Bleh, I’d unwind like a coiled spring if I had a drumset with me, better than nothing at all."

"I can think of other ways to unwind..." Spin said with a grin. Kade shook his head. "Damn, woman, but you have urges…"

Spin gave him an evil grin and rolled on top of him, kissed him, then lay her head on his chest. They were like that for a while, each in their own thoughts, drawing comfort from each other’s presence. After a while, Kade nudged Spin, who rolled off of him so he could get up. Kade rubbed his head, then tied his hair back in his customary ponytail.

"We should go see what the others are up to, and figure out are next move."

"Well, good luck on getting Angel or Noire to open their doors."

Kade turned to Spin, perplexed. "And why’s that?"

"I heard noises."

"Noises?" Kade asked, still confused. Spin shook her head and laughed. Kade wasn’t stupid, but sometimes he was so… Naïve.

"Noises, Kade, noises. Like the kind that are made with two people."

Kade thought about that for a second, and then understanding dawned.

"Shit! You mean Angel and Noire are…"

Spin nodded her head, satisfied that Kade finally figured out what she meant. "Attraction comes in all ways, shapes and forms."

"Well, hot damn… In that case, let’s leave them to their business."

Kade offered a hand, and Spin took it, got off the bed and together they left the room to go find anyone else who was available.

In the meanwhile, Rage had freshened up and was wandering about Mrs. Mill’s old house, looking for no place in particular. He wondered what was going to happen next. Hopefully, they’d find a way to get Amy home, back to the Universe. Hell, maybe they’d go along as well. Any place was better than this hellhole, with windigo hanging around at every turn and the slow but sure reality that food was getting harder and harder to come by. All in all, leaving had been a good idea, but it had to be carried out, to the end, or there was no point to it in the first place.

It was a shame that Kannabis had died. Rage couldn’t say he had been buddy-buddy with the guy, but he had become some sort of comrade-in-arms, and although Rage mourned his loss, he was more disappointed that they had lost a good fighter. If they had to go through more windigo, it was only going to get rougher. Most people broke down after the first few encounters: that was understandable, seeing as how these things were like creatures you saw in movies. If Amy cracked, it was going to be soon, and if she did, they would lose another fighter. Rage had taken a much better liking to Amy, but his logic was unbiased, and pointed only to the completion of the objective.

"Lost? I can take you anywhere you might want to be in this place."

Rage turned around, knowing that only one person would make that claim, in that manner.

"Not really lost, Nine, more like wandering aimlessly." He looked at the feral being sideways.

"Boy, but you are a trusting group." Nine shook his head, amused. "Relax, as I said before, I’m not going to hurt you."

"Sorry, old habits die hard." Rage said, half-serious. Nine rolled his eyes at the boy, and picked at his bandages. "Crazy old woman thinks I’m going to get an infection… I can get scratched and bitten by windigo, and nothing. But one small cut, and it’s break out the antibiotics…"

Rage chuckled at Nine’s small rant, then said, "So, what’s the shortest way out of Nephilim?"

"Depends on which direction you want to go. Straight up is always the quickest." Nine grinned. "But if you plan to keep walking, then you want to head out west, towards Beldaris. It’s a few day’s worth of walk, but once you get outside, you can hitchhike your way there. Just make sure you guys have enough food for the journey. And I’ll come with you, till the border of Nephilim. You’ll need someone to wake you guys up if the windigo attack at night."

"Beldaris… How many days do you think it’ll take? We can’t really carry a bunch of food and water, not if we have to fight."

"Should only be a couple of days, three tops. By then, you’ll have hit some of the major highways, if you don’t get into any trouble by then. Five will get you to Beldaris. And I’ll give you guys some money. There’s more than enough in the banks and no one will mind if I borrow some, without interest."

"Sounds like a plan. Now I just need to get the other’s opinion on this."

"Well, scratch Angel and Noire for now. They be… otherwise occupied."

Rage raised an eyebrow, and Nine grinned.

"Well, that’s their business… Speaking of which, how come there isn’t any cat-girl running around here? Must get pretty lonely unless you dig old women."

"Hey hey, don’t knock the old lady… She’s like a mother to me, and I’m not into incest… And as for me, well… Feral and alone is what I am. I’ll always be that way."

"Bummer, bro."

"Bah, I’m used to it. You never know, maybe one day I’ll find myself a little lady."

"All the best, man. So, any idea what Kade and Spin are up to? Or are they occupied as well?"

"It’s not my style to pry… Angel and Noire were loud enough that only Mrs. Mills wouldn’t hear them. Everyone else pretty much did."

"You mean YOU did. I didn’t hear anything."

At that moment, Kade and Spin came down the stairs, hand in hand. Rage smiled at the budding romance, then got serious again. He and Kade were pretty close. Kade always said Rage was Jay, and he was Silent Bob.

"Alright, lady and germs, Nine here has suggested we head for Beldaris from here."

"Bel? A bit far, but I think we can make it… It’ll take a couple days though, and if we come across anything like we did on the way here, then we’ll be fucked but good."

"Indeed, which is why our gracious host has offered to get us as far as Nephilim’s border. From there, it’s not too hard. If we get to the border, then getting out will be the hard part. I know there are ways in and out, just not where they are. The Hunters use them, so we should be able to as well."

"Alright. We’ll crash here for another few days,’ Kade looked at Nine, ‘If that’s cool with you."

"Stay a while, but not too long…"

"Then, we’ll get our supplies, and get the fuck out of this Resident Evil Wannabe town."

"I was thinking Silent Hill, but yeah…"

"Nine, I doubt I’ll get the answer I want, but is there a metal shop close by?"

"Nope."

"Damn. Ah well, I guess our weapons can hold out until we hit Bel. But then, I gotta make us some new ones. Now, all we have to do is let Angel and Noire know about our plans. Hopefully, we can get Angel home."

"Someone say my name?" Amy called down the stairs. Re-showered and fresh, she came down to join the gang, Noire following her after a discreet amount of time.

"Someone said yours, alright." Kade said, grinning at Noire, who blushed. "Well, maybe 'said' isn’t the right word… More like, moaned, shouted, whispered…"

Amy turned as red as Noire, and dropped her head, embarrassed. Were they really that loud?

"Hey, no worries. Get it where you can, eh?" Kade cracked again, and Noire looked at him as if waiting to rip his head off. Kade waved his hands. "I’m just teasing, ladies. Relax. I’m happy a little more love was spread, no matter between whom."

"Everyone needs someone..." Spin said wisely.

Amy was still blushing, but she managed to look everyone in the face, except for Kade. The moment she looked at him, his face cracked from ear to ear. Noire walked over and whacked him in the head.

"OW!!! Geez, woman, I said I was just teasing… Bleh. Anyways, the plan is to head out to Bel in a few days."

"Bel?" Amy asked.

"Beldaris, it’s a city a few days out from here. We should be able to make it there."

"But, won’t there be windigo there, just like here?"

"Nope. The situation here was contained. If we can make it out of Nephilim, I think we’ll be fine. We’ll have to carry food for a few days, but the load will get lighter as we go on."

"Well," Amy put in, "I don’t know if my opinion counts, but I think we should go for it. Any chance to get out of this place is better than just sitting here waiting for the Windigo to come and get us."

"Of course your opinion counts," Kade said, "You’re one of us now. Yeah, me and Spin have been thinking the same thing. If there’s a chance we can get out and get Angel back home, then I think that’s better than just sitting around here."

"So, we are in an agreement?" Rage asked, looking around at the faces of his friends. One by one, they nodded.

"Good. For now though, let’s rest. I like the luxury here."

"HEAR HEAR!!"
